What You Will Need

  • One to two dropperfuls of kale tincture
  • 1/2 tablespoon coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tsp fresh citrus juice (lemon or lime recommended)
Honey dripping from spoon

  • Add ingredients to a small bowl or pestle.
  • Combine all ingredients until fully mixed and desired consistency is reached.
  • For extra anti-inflammatory benefits provided by cold, place the mixture in the refrigerator until it is cool to touch. This will feel so refreshing on your skin!
  • Apply a thin layer to skin, avoiding hairline. Rinse with warm water after five to ten minutes. Follow with a cool rinse.

You can customize this mask by adding more or less of any ingredient to reach the consistency you prefer. If a thicker consistency is desired, substitute unflavored yogurt for coconut milk. If you prefer fresh kale, use one cup of fresh kale in place of tincture. To do this, prepare the mixture in a blender or food processor.

You can add additional fresh herbs as well. Play around with it! If you have fresh mint on hand, this can be a fun addition for more skin cooling refreshment.
