Lemon balm has antispasmodic properties to temper digestion. Since ancient times, Western and Eastern cultures have used spearmint to combat ailments including headache, fatigue, digestive issues and to supplement and boost the immune system (1). Both spearmint and lemon balm have properties to soothe digestion and improve appetite by decreasing bloating and gas issues.
